I think this change both helps and hurts the novel, because the aspect of the novel changes, but the change that ocurs is a good change. The point of view changes in the 3 chapters because Luo, Old Miller, and The Little Seamstress are all getting to tell a story from their points of view, so in that case they are speaking in 1st person. Then as the novel starts to die down the little seamstress is speaking back into 1st person because she then becomes the narrator.

I agree with the narrator somewhat, but i think that in todays modern society the marginal status of storytelling has broaden, and evolved into many diffrent things, beacsue storytelling is seen in various ways. And yes i believe that their is a place for storytellers in our culture like i said before storytellers appear in mayn diffrent forms.

For example a preacher or a preist is an example of a storyteller. They tell stories based on religious aspects and beliefs, but they still tell stories.

Stories can be taught in diffrent ways , not just through words.

Math teachers tell stories through equations, and pass them down to students whom need to learn that story in particular because math is such a big story.

Hmmm....Technology?

Technology is a very important part of life. It makes a very big impact in life..because it helps in so many ways. My theory with technology is without out it the world would not function the corret way..We depend on technology to help us and to change things around us.
I am very familiar with technology, I use it constantly in my day to day life. For example today setting up this Blogger its going to be a little difficult because i've never created a blog before so this is definently going to be something new for me. At first it was frustrating setting up the account or i should say creating a password, but i eventually got it.
